Our software connects to trading accounts read-only, to observe them and to tell you when something you asked to be told about has happened. It contains no code path that can place, modify or close an order, and none that can withdraw or transfer funds. That is a property of our software, and it holds for every account and every venue, whatever permissions your own API key happens to carry.

Some venues let us verify what a key itself is permitted to do; where they do, we check on connection and refuse a key that can trade or withdraw. Some venues expose no way to ask, and on those we cannot verify your key's permissions and say so in the product. You are responsible for the scope of the credentials you provide.

The thresholds our software watches are the ones you set. Products may ship common starting values as presets; where they do, those presets are switched off until you review and enable them. A limit we chose for you would be an opinion about your account, and we do not offer one.

Delivery of an alert is not guaranteed. Alerts depend on your device, your network, your operating system, third-party delivery networks, and the venue's own API — none of which we control. An alert may be delayed, may arrive out of order, or may not arrive at all.

Monitoring of a MetaTrader terminal runs through an agent on your own machine: if that machine is asleep, offline, or not running the agent, nothing is being watched. Exchange and broker accounts are polled at an interval, so a fast move can cross a limit between reads.

Our software is a second pair of eyes, not a safety net. It does not stop a trade and it cannot cap a loss. Do not rely on it as your only control over risk, and do not treat the absence of an alert as confirmation that nothing has happened.

TrendSoft Ltd holds no referral, introduction, affiliate or revenue-sharing arrangement with any broker, exchange or trading venue. We are paid by the people who license our software, and by nobody else.
